AirBTU provides ASME Air cooled heat exchangers for pipeline gas coolers and pipeline oil coolers. Air Coolers for cooling hot oil, gas and produced water in well-head and pipeline applications.  Thermofin Air Coolers Unique extruded fin heat transfer surface is the industry standard in efficiency and performance.

VPRR Radial Heat Exchangers

Radial Flow gas-to-gas heat exchangers for acid plants and catalytic reactions. Sulfuric acid manufacture and refining requires radial heat exchangers for heat transfer in the catalytic reaction process.  VPRR radial heat exchangers are ideally suited for sulfuric acid plants and gas based catalytic reactions.  We design and provide gas to gas heat exchangers to retrofit into any radial flow heat exchanger application.  AirBTU heat exchangers have full radial freedom on nozzle orientation for retrofit applications.

Direct Contact Coolers

Direct contact gas coolers for acid plants. AirBTU designs and provides direct contact, adiabatic gas coolers for hot, acid gas streams.  Unique Suspended Zone wet wall, spray towers with flooded walls and refractory gas nozzle provides for cooling of acid gases from 1200F. CFD modeling provides definition of temperature profile within the direct contact cooling tower.
